I grew my business during the height of hustle culture and I burned out.
For years, I ran English Tea Paperie (formerly exclusively a wedding stationery business) in the fast lane. It looked successful from the outside, but inside, I felt overwhelmed, overworked, and creatively depleted. Like so many women, I poured myself out in pursuit of excellence and left myself, well...empty.
Today, my work is rooted in the belief that art isn't just something we hang, it's something we live.
What began years ago as a love for paper, poetry, and wedding heirlooms has quietly evolved into something more personal: a lifestyle brand devoted to romanticizing the everyday. Today, my offerings reflect a slower pace, where creativity, rest, and meaningful details guide the way.
Beauty isn't a luxury.
And life? oh, Life is ART.
Here's what you'll find in this little corner of the internet:

Originally from London, England, but with the help of some camp eyes and a sweet boy from the South, I now call Richmond, Virginia, my home.
Living in a little cottage on the corner with my husband and daughter, I spend my days creating a beautiful life with intention; unhurried in appreciation and curated with purpose, rather than rushed and heavy like the many years I lived before.
Whether you're in a season of burnout or blooming, I hope this space feels like a soft place to land.
To reset. To feel seen.
To remember that your life is allowed to be beautiful, right now.
You can shop the journal here, browse art here, or join my email list for slow living notes, creative routines, and behind-the-scenes moments from the studio.
With love,
Chloé
