"I hope you are blessed
with a heart like a wildflower
Strong enough to rise again
after being trampled upon,
tough enough to weather
the worst of the summer storms,
and able to grow and flourish
even in the most broken places."
- Nikita Gill
THE GIRL BEHIND THE PAINTBRUSH
As an artist, designer, and post-burnout creative, I believe designing a beautiful life begins with heartfelt intention. Encouraging those around me to enjoy life like a fine art gallery, slowly, with emotion and purpose. Guiding away from overwhelm and into living and working from a place of rest.
Having spent the majority of my career as a bespoke wedding stationer, in a high-end and fast-paced industry, burnout struck in 2018 and almost led me to quit. Instead, I rested and did the deep work of understanding why women and creatives are more susceptible to the continual destruction of overwhelm.
Originally from London, England, I now call Richmond, Virginia my home. An Enneagram 4w5 and a highly sensitive person (HSP), I always envisioned becoming an artist, bringing poetic expression to the world.
Acrylic was my jam back in my school days, so I'm actually self taught in watercolor. I have a deep love and appreciation for oil paintings and love to longingly stare at all the works in all the museums.
As an avid Wedgwood collector, you can find me strolling antique stores on the weekends with my family, a lavender latte in hand.
I adore the English garden and French patisserie vibe, but don't be fooled by the dresses I wear, I also have that London girl spunk.
Expanding my offerings beyond beautifully designed wedding papers, I now also provide a range of tools and resources, including 1:1 coaching, speaking engagements, writing, and thoughtfully created products. My mission is to eliminate the shame around creative suffering and bring joy back to our days.
