I've got to say, I'm pretty proud of how I've spent all 10 days of 2018 thus far. Are you??
This week, I joined my local Chamber of Commerce, which feels very entrepreneurial to me! One of my friends is on their planning committee, and she thought it would be a great opportunity for me to meet other business owners, learn new things, and spread some knowledge that I've gained.
I've also spent time putting together little vendor surprises to go out in the mail! This project MIGHT have included my BFF, Amanda (Sweet Bella Bakery), and she MAY have had to buy a new cookie cutter just for me and my crazy ideas. ;)
Disclaimer: Even if Amanda weren't my best friend, I would still use her cookies for just about anything I could think of. YUM.
In other fun news, I'll be at the Short Pump Town Center Crate & Barrel for the their special Private Registry event on Sunday, January 21st from 9:00 - 11:00am. I'll be there, along with some other great vendors, to answer any wedding questions you may have as you start thinking about your wedding registry! Is it ok to add your registry on your wedding invitations? Or do they go on bridal shower invites only? How should you address the invitations so that people know they can't bring a friend?? A lot of questions can come up, but I'll be there to help! RSVP for free HERE!
The day BEFORE this event is actually my first wedding of 2018!! Virginia and Sean are getting married at the Commonwealth Club with Lindsay (LK Events & Design) as their planner, so I can't wait to see all the yumminess come together! Virginia and I worked together on their save the dates, letterpress invitations, guestbooks, and programs. We worked on some incredible line drawings of the Commonwealth Club and the Richmond skyline that became Insta-famous when I posted a sneak peek, so I'm excited to see photos of them!!
