You know how when most people go to the beach, they come home with a tan? Well, since I'm a pale Nordic princess (according to my husband), as hard as I tried to tan on vacation, I came back still pretty pale. I'm not gonna lie . . . I went straight to the tanning salon for a spray. And voila. Now I LOOK like I've returned from a vacation.
This vacation was much needed, so now I'm back in the ETP office feeling 100% recharged. There's really nothing like the sound of waves crashing and a little extra time with family and Jesus to refill your soul. I'm learning more and more that I can't serve my clients well if I'M feeling empty, but I still struggle to give myself a break. It might help if I didn't take my printer AND 100 yards of silk ribbon on vacation . . . but hey, something to work on.
(In the name of relaxation, I MAY have made a blush colored splurge or two at Kate Spade . . . but that's another story.)
While I was away, life was still happening back in Virginia! I know, I can't believe it either. ;) My ETP brides were still getting married, and all the papers were getting set up, even from afar! I FedEx'd Caroline's day-of papers to her from Myrtle Beach for her wedding on Sunday, hence the 100 yards of silk ribbon. So yes, my clients can ALWAYS rest assured that their needs are taken care of even when I'm away!!
I was blown away when I got sneak peeks from Emily Marie Photography while we were at the beach! This blue and gold shoot is EXTRA gorgeous, don't you think? I kind of can't get enough of it.
So much pretty.
Alright friends, that's all for now! I'm going to close my eyes and see if I can still hear the waves -- I'm hoping they last through my BIRTHDAY TOMORROW! Macaron deliveries welcomed. ;)
