Happy New Year, blog readers! It's been a while since you've seen a Tea with Chloe post, but wouldn't you know, blogging more is one of my New Year's resolutions! You're going to be seeing a lot more of Chloe on the blog this year. I'll tell you all about my other goals and plans for 2018 next week, but until then, we have some catching up to do.
Basically, the Minyon family has been hunkered down enjoying the holidays together. It was a really nice way to reset after a crazy 2017! This past year was so busy -- I feel like I barely got to spend time with the friends who have become more like family to me. I'm so grateful that this holiday season brought our friends and family together for some serious quality time.
We even got to spend a day at Busch Garden's Christmastown with my dear friend Amanda, of Sweet Bella Bakery. It was the perfect place to get into the Christmas spirit.
Joe and I watched Emma as Angel Gabriel in the Christmas Eve nativity, I hung with some super cute animals at the petting zoo and we filled our living room with an abundance of wrapped holiday gifts. The season was pure joy.
Emma got the world's greatest Lego set for Christmas, which was a much needed addition to the "World of Emma" city she has been building for quite some time. In case anyone is wondering, her order from Starbucks is a vanilla steamer with a pump of cinnamon dolce. Honestly, I'm still trying to figure out how I created someone so much cooler than me.
A few weeks ago, Joe & I also got to have a little date night out at Quirk Hotel for POSH PR's holiday soiree! I think the best part was Joe bonding with Shalese over champagne and macarons. Just reading back over this paragraph and the one about my family spending the evening with Sweet Bella Bakery's family - I can't help but feel so fortunate that my work and home intermingle. #allthefeels
So, speaking of Quirk, I had a meeting there yesterday with one of my sweet 2018 couples (they were in town from GERMANY!) when I noticed that the Christmas tree is actually WHITE! Wait, what?! I totally thought it was pink. Anyone else?? Either way, it's still one of my favorite places to create and design for my wedding clients. They had me at pink coffee cup. :)
Speaking of my clients, I'm off to go work on new suite for 2018! But stay tuned -- we're talking all about some hard (and some great) lessons learned in 2017 on Friday!
