The woman behind the paintbrush
Chloe owes her success to the unassuming but mighty watercolor paintbrush. Originally from London, Chloe incorporates her British roots into her American dreamlike designs and business model. What started as a hobby while waiting for her green card turned into English Tea Paperie — first a lifestyle blog, then a custom illustrated notecard side hustle that evolved into a six-figure bespoke wedding invitations and papers design studio. Having been featured in Martha Stewart Weddings, Virginia Bride, and Style Me Pretty, among countless other publications, Chloe’s reputation for high quality design and attention to detail is no surprise.
As if running a business full time wasn’t enough, Chloe also created a mentoring program for startups, a retail shoppe for her prints, and is an educational speaker for creatives all while balancing her personal life of being a loving mother, wife, and active member of her church. She has a passion for helping others reach their full potential through education and collaboration.

"Chloe is such an amazingly talented designer and such a sweetheart. I expected such a brilliant and established designer as Chloe to be hard to reach. But not only was she more then willing to mentor my business partner and me, but she was a wealth of information. Being fairly new to the world of custom wedding stationery design, I had so many questions, and Chloe had an answer for every single one of them. I completely admire her sense of community over competition. Not only is she one of the most talented designers I have ever seen, she has the kindest heart and best personality. She is hilarious and adorable and totally best friend material! If you ever have the chance to work with Chloe, grasp on to every word, she's brilliant!"

"Chloe is a gem! I can't emphasize that enough. As a relatively new business owner, I am so grateful to her for the advice and time she shared with my business partner and me. The graphic/artistic work, time, and patience that goes into creating the perfect wedding invitation is so eloquently displayed in Chloe's work. You can see the time and care she takes in every creation. I am personally grateful to her for being an example of generosity and friendship in a very competitive market. Her willingness to pass on her knowledge is invaluable and speaks volumes of who she is professionally and personally."

"Thank you Chloe for pulling out of me what has always been there. I was scared of creating a brand for fear of looking phony, but you have helped me realize that I had a brand to be refined. Our sessions of brainstorming, laughing, sharing life stories and homework have helped me put together the puzzle pieces of my life; which are genuine, layered and worthy to share. You have given me a renewed sense of purpose and clarity.
